The tuition fee for the programme under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) is the net fee paid by a student after deduction of subsidy from the Government. In 2024/25 academic year, the annual subsidy under the SSSDP is $79,770 for laboratory-based undergraduate programmes.
Short Description. The programme aims to prepare graduates who are competent to work in the health and social care arena. Graduates are eligible to apply for the licence of Registered Nurse with The Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK).
Year 1 entry. The applicant must be: aged 18 or above by the time the Training Programme commences; a Hong Kong permanent resident with the right of abode in Hong Kong; AND.
Largest SSSDP subsidized Higher Diploma programme in healthcare. Extensive articulation pathways to facilitate further study in nursing, allied health and health science, both locally and overseas. Strong teaching team of nurses and medical and health science teachers.
