In May I am spending 6 days in Austin with my kids (age 12 and 9) and we will not have a car. We will be doing a trip into hill country on one day (possibly two).

We rented a cottage in Kyoto through and asked them for various bits of assistance and they've been terribly responsive and helpful. Nice people.
