不少在ETH Zurich读PhD的学生，硕士也是在ETH读的，所以他们可以至少节省这一学期博士时间。 对我来说，第一学期如同炼狱。 因为没有后路，必须通过这个Qualifying exams，然后才可以继续博士学习。
ETH日（ETH-Tag）每年于11月20日校庆日左右举行，是苏黎世联邦理工学院的学术节日（ Dies academicus ）。 这一天在主楼会有一系列活动，包括奖励优秀学生论文、颁发荣誉博士学位等。
2022年12月19日 · 一種是請教 授信寫完，教授自己寄到學校去。 另一種是寫完之後彌封，再跟其他的文件一起郵寄到 ETHZ 去。 那時請了兩個專題的教授幫忙寫推薦信，剛好兩個方法都用上，也都成功寄到 了。 最後，要在網路上填一份大學課程大綱。 我對這個印象深刻的事情有兩項。 一件是大學的 時候修了不少日文。 要把所有日文文法的用詞查出來一一翻成英文，那時簡直是酷刑。 第 二是填到最後的時候，發現前面漏填了一門課。 因為課程必須照成績單的順序列出來，填 上去也後沒有辦法調換順序，只能花 O (n) 時間，把後面的課全部刪掉，補上漏掉那門之 後，再填回去。
