Signed in March 2018, its 11 members include Canada, Australia, Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam. The CPTPP parties are Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. On June 7, 2023, Minister Ng reiterated Canada’s support for Ukraine’s accession to the CPTPP.
