The Oxfam Trailwalker, a 100km hiking marathon founded in Hong Kong in the 1980s, continues to be one of our most notable partnership fundraising events. The success of this fundraising event has not only raised awareness of poverty and injustice, but has also attracted ten additional countries to organise their own Oxfam Trailwalker events.
Oxfam Trailwalker (OTW) 2022 will be held this year from 24 to 26 February. The largest annual hiking fundraising event will feature the theme ‘Back on our feet, resilient in the face of change’. The press conference was held today at the AIA Hong Kong Tower in Quarry Bay.

This year, 2,583 participants, or 86.88 per cent, completed the OTW.

The last teams (team nos. 0366 and 0431) crossed the finish line together in Yuen Long at 9:03 am today, completing the 100 km trail in 46 hours and 3 minutes.
In addition to actively preparing for the in-person "Oxfam Trailwalker 2022", we are also preparing for ‘Oxfam Trailwalker 2022 – VIRTUALLY TOGETHER’, which will be held from 26 November to 18 December. This year, we have three categories: ‘Tenacious Trailwalkers’, ‘Spirited Trailwalkers’ and ‘Hearty Trailwalkers’.
