    1968年成立的跨国民间会员组织

    国际保理商联合会（Factors Chain International，简称FCI），成立于1968年，总部设在荷兰的阿姆斯特丹，是一个由全球各国保理公司参与的开放性的跨国民间会员组织。到2010年底，它已覆盖67个国家，是全球最大的保理机构网络。

    当时，只有北美和一些欧洲国家开展有国内保理业务服务。受国家地区限制，国际保理或跨国保理还是一个新概念。FCI的创始者们看到潜在的国际保理业务前景，他们认为有必要成立一个保护伞组织，以便把保理业务带到那些尚未展开的国家，并为国际保理建立一个框架以利于增进出口商和进口商之间的保理业务。

    受我国相关法律限制，我国的入会成员全部是银行，也是该拥有会员最多的国家。截止到2011年底，我国入会成员共30多个，包括中国银行，中国建设银行，中国农业银行，中信银行，中国光大银行，上海浦发银行，华夏银行，大连银行，上海银行等等。
