You could get there by bus - Intercity to Limassol, another bus or two (I haven;t checked the details) to somewhere you can get the number 18 bus to the stadium (which is indeed a long way out of town). But I don't think you'd get buses back to Paphos after the game. ...

In August 2023, I was in Limassol and saw that AEL Limassol were playing at home against Zakakiou. I looked online for tickets and it turns out that it is very complicated process.
