The HA develops and implements a public housing programme which seeks to achieve the Government's policy objective of meeting the housing needs of low-income families that cannot afford private accommodation.
2023年9月12日 · 香港房屋委員會 (房委會) 是根據《房屋條例》於1973年4月成立的法定機構。 房委會負責制定和推行本港的公營房屋計劃，為不能負擔私人樓宇的低收入家庭解決住屋需要，從而達至政府的政策目標。 房委會負責規劃、興建、管理和維修保養各類公共租住房屋，包括出租公屋、中轉房屋和臨時收容中心。 此外，房委會也擁有和經營一些分層工廠大廈，以及附屬商業設施和其他非住宅設施。 行政長官在《2011至12年施政報告》中宣布，由房委會負責推展新居者有其屋計劃。 房委會主席由房屋局局長兼任， 房屋署署長則為房委會副主席。 房屋署是房委會的執行機關。 除主席及副主席外，房委會成員還包括兩名官方及18名非官方委員，全部由行政長官委任。 所有非官方委員都是以個人身份接受委任。 機構願景.
